Theilor Cruz is a young coffee farmer. His love for coffee runs
deep, inherited from his father and family. As a passionate and
dedicated producer, Theilor pours his heart and soul into every
coffee lot.
His goal is to showcase the exceptional quality of his coffee and
highlight its origin. Together with his family, Theilor cultivates
coffee in this pristine environment, where nature's bounty gives
rise to a smooth, balanced, and complex cup.
This Gesha lot is cultivated by Theilor Cruz at 1750 m.a.s.l in
Tabacona farm, located at 1750 m.a.s.l in San Ignacio, nestled
in the heart of the mountains. His farm enjoys the perfect
climate and soil for growing specialty coffee. Known for its
altitude and rich biodiversity, this region produces coffee with a
truly distinctive flavor.
The best cherries of Gesha were picked and then hand-sorted
to remove any defects. Afterward, the coffee was pulped and
washed to completely remove the mucilage. The coffee was
then sun-dried for 18 days in raised bed.
The label features a unicorn (Scotland national animal) because we think it has some very Scottish tasting notes!
